Who is your Dark Horse pick for the playoffs. Last year it was the Gladewater Bears. They came within a play of knocking off eventual state champs Commerce last year in the Semis. What team will it be this year? :cool:

Darkhorse: the Aransas Pass Panthers in Division II. They've steadily improved every week and the most dangerous teams are the ones that begin to peak at the end of the year. They may not win a state title, but I see no reason they can't go four rounds deep. They've got one of the best running backs in the state in Tommy Blake and they play in a weak region for DII football. In DI, Wharton is a team that I saw that is just loaded. Whtfbplaya told me that they've lacked discipline in the past, but if they put it together, there's a title contender up in Wharton. Don't know much about the other Regions in the state.
