This should be an AWESOME game.

This is a hard one for Region III folks we have backed Giddings in many an assorted HS playoff game; but now they are over in Region IV.
Carthage took out West Texas as expected and they are a good sound/solid team. I think I am pulling for Carthage--they beat a team that I did not particularly like their overall attitude a while back.

The only radio station that I know it's on is LaGrange 104.9 KBUK. Don't know if you can pick that up or not. And I'm not sure if LG has online streaming.

We got 2 calls today asking if K-MAC Sports was going to broadcast the game. Because Giddings already has a broadcast outlet, we obviously weren't going to step on any toes.

They had one heck of a battle emerging as the winner in Region III.
To win Championships in both Football and Baseball is a phenomenal feat.
Congrats-- you have taken out some great teams to represent your Region.

Congrats Giddings, nothing to hang your heads about, with only two seniors on the team, you should be back next year. Playing Little League against them and now High School ball, I have nothing but respect for the Giddings Baseball Team as well as Coach Marlow. What a great group of young men that represented District 25 very well.

Carthage has been a baseball power even when they were in 4A, great sports year for them

Congratulations to the Carthage Bulldogs. They got the timely hits and the breaks to score their runs late in the game, after overcoming the weather delay and a game that morning.

To the Buffalo baseball team. You showed alot of people throughout the state that you are a force, as a team and as individuals. each one of you stepped up, made a play, got a hit and found a way for your team to win.

To our two seniors, Ethan Kmoch and Zach Berry. You can write your name in school history and know that you both were a big reason for this fantastic season. Never ever again will the announcer at the state tournament say "This is Giddings first appearance at the state tournament".

I'm looking forward to our 2010 team. Keep playing guys and keep getting better.

I'm ready for my week's vacation and then summer ball begins.

Congratulations to Carthage, you must of been very good to defeat an outstanding team like Giddings. The Buffs only lose 2 seniors, so I expect them to go after that crown in 2010. Congratulations on a great year, we (Bellville fans) have the upmost respect for the Buffs. We know that Giddings has been the measuring stick of excellance, compete with them and you know your team is very good. See ya'll in football, maybe twice. :D
