#1 Flag Football Team in the Nation!!!

[PHS Wildcats]

I play on a flag football team here in Dallas (Hotboys) and we just received word that we are the #1 ranked team in the Nation. We play 9 on 9 Ineligible Contact with NFL rules. We won the SouthEast Regional 2 weeks ago. We play 2 seasons a yr. Spring and Fall. Our Spring Season concludes this weekend with our 4 Conference Championship games on Sat. and the 2 Super Bowls on Sunday at Lancaster ISD Stadium. We travel to Va Beach, Va for a National Tourney on June 27th & 28th. If we do well, then we'll play in the World Championships in Orlando Fl, Jan 15th-17th.

Well guys we lost in the conference finals 6-0. Our WR on the opposite side of me hyperextended his knee on the 2nd play of the game. And our QB thrw 6 ints, 5 in the red zone and 2 in the endzone. The team we lost to in the conference finals lost 21-7 in the Super Bowl. We kept our #1 ranking partly due to our success in the tournys. So Next up for us is the VA Beach tourney on june 27th and 28th.

In Flag football count yds in 5s not true yds, so I could actually had something like 93 yds receiveing but they round it off to 95.

We've been together since 2001 and all went to college together. 3 guys on defense and 2 on offense played Arena Ball and the WR opposite of me is Albert Connell (formerly of the Washington Redskins). In college we were teammates with Darren Benson(formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, Perry Pheonix(Fomerly of the Tenn Titans), Matt Bryant of Tampa Bay Bucs and Al Harris of Green bay Packers, just to name a few. In all from our National Title team at TVCC 11 landed with NFL teams.
