Stockton hired former Sweetwater OC and Ft. Stockton hometown boy Rex Whitfield. I really enjoyed him when I was in high school. Good luck Coach!

Same here. He left sometime when I was in high school during the last 90's. I didn't think he was anywhere close to retirement age. He really had a rough couple of years at the end of his time at SHS.

He had just gotten there when I was in school in the late 80's.
