Astros' and Ranger's drafts

Rangers pick 14th and Astros pick 21st.


Both teams need ML ready pitching, but the Rangers have gone heavy on pitching the last 5 or so drafts, so they probably look other ways early this draft.


Astros just need to string together a few more good drafts and fill the farm with young talented players. period.


I say for the Rangers, take a corner outfielder..... for the Stros, take the most talented pitcher available.

There is a good chance the Rangers will draft Shelby Miller with the 14th overall pick. Miller is the kid from Brownwood Texas that drew so much attention this year when he pitched. I know the Rangers have scouted him more than once this year. His fastball is in the mid 90's and he also has a great curveball.
