She used to go to West Columbia and was a ppitcher behind Cami Newsome when we state....... now she is the pitcher on the 5A state tournament team!

I think this is the young lady that made the circus catches in the championship game. She definitely deserves the honor. (I'm sure the others do too.;))

Actually, you're probably talking about our LF, Cierra Wieghat. While Becca is one of the best CF I've seen, Cierra happened to get the chances in the championship game and nailed them all.

Ambra Hill from Forsan (MVP) is just a freshman! I ran into my niece at the track meet (she also attends Forsan) who told me to be sure to watch Ambra in the hurdles. I think she got fourth.....but still a pretty good showing for being a freshman!!

Those type of catches are momentum killers. If she misses, the ball likely rolls to the outfield and clears the bases or the other team at least gets extra base hits.

The MVP in 2a from Brock is only a soph. They are gonna be good the next few years.

When we scouted the La Grange game and of course then in our game, we were all very impressed with the outfield and how well they tracked down fly balls and made plays. :clap: Solid D, big bats & a very deceptive pitcher = success!
