The errors tonight were the difference in the ballgame, but what a season. The Lions have nothing to hang there head about. They fought hard till the end. I am extremely proud of the Brownwood Lions.

Great season Lions. As best I remember, 3 errors, 3 passed balls, 1 base path blunder and 6+ stolen bases spelled doom. Both teams had a chance to fold the tent but kept coming back and made for a great game to watch. Just disappointed that our district brothers aren't moving on. :(

Championship teams don't make excuses, they go out, make the plays and win pressure games. Andrews proved that they were the superior team. Andrews has a lot of the same traits of last y ear's STATE CHAMPION Snyder with clutch hitting, good defense and good pitching. They came through in the clutch. One of my best friends' son was the winning pitcher and has been their most effective pitcher all year.

STR, i met you at the state baseball tournament and i would have to agree with ex-tiger 2005. You are an ok guy in person. but you seem to have to have this tendency to tear people down and talk a lot of crap on here. not sure why you do this. it sure is annoying.

Maybe STR is motivated by the same things that cause graffiti artists to deface buildings with their expressions rather than paint on canvas, GWOOD. Of course, I would class STR as more of a "finger painter", however. :D

Here is my amateur psychology diagnosis. I too have met STR, and he was perfectly nice in person. But some of his post have me wanting to pull my own hair out!

A lot of people on here have been blessed with the ability to BS with the best of them....hardly anything they say offends me, because I know they are kidding.

I think STR tries to stir the pot like that "BS crowd" but lacks the ability to pull it off, therefore it comes out sounding flat and offensive.

When DaHop makes a derogatory comment about a Greenwood loss to Snyder, I just laugh it off....we have THAT kind of "relationship"....when STR does they same thing, it tends to annoy me!

Maybe this site IS more "cliquish" than I thought!! :eek: :D
