Roll Call for Brownwood vs. Andrews [Archive]

If I'm back home from Nebraska I'll be there. Wish they were at ACU or McMurry. I like those stadiums better. It ought to be a great atmosphere, no matter where it's played. I think Andrews was the last team to knock the WOOD out, the last time they made it this far. Glad to see Andrews getting back to being competitive again.

Know anything about Carthage? Does that stud running back play baseball? I watched the State Championship game, the kid is a beast.

Carthage is always a force to be reckoned with. They live, eat and breath baseball there. Great pitching, great hitting, good over all team. They are only less than an hour down the road from us so it will be a local baseball showdown. If they beat us for Region I personally will be pulling for them for that reason. If your gonna get beat you need to be able to say you were beat by the best.

I think the heat index here is supposed to be about 98 degrees Sat. afternoon.

Looks like I am not going to be able to make it after all. My friend that was going with me had to bail and I have not got the "traveling with the grand-daughter thing" by myself down to well. Guess I better stick around the house and be with you guys in spirit... and on the radio! Have fun guys and go get'em Lions!
