Are you ready for Game 3 tonight between Sweeny and Needville?

Believe it or not I think more people will be there tonight!! (Saturday)

I'm guessing between 1,500 and 2,000.

Fans have been arriving at 4:30 for these 7:30 starts.

OMG!! You are sooo right!

Last night, from our vantage point (behind home plate on the first-base side) we couldn't see ANY EMPTY/OPEN spaces! And that includes along the fences in left and right field - in fact, it looked like folks out there were 10 deep!!

As we were packing up last night (at 11 p.m.), the folks with Brazoswood HS (who are MORE than accomodating, by the way, and we appreciate that) were beside themselves with the crowd. The Concessions guy thinks there was at least 2,000 people there last night - said he'd never seen a crowd like that there for a non-BHS softball game.

As someone who is seeing both school's crowds for the first time, SHS, I can say that these two schools - and their communities - are nothing short of tremendous in their support and enthusiasm for the two softball teams.

OH yah - they saw a CLASSIC game last night, too!

Wonder what the two teams will do for an "encore" in tonight's Game 3 showdown, huh, SHS???? :cool: :clap: :)
