A tragic accident in Caldwell claims the life of one brother and injures another.
It happened around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday on FM 3058, just south of Caldwell.
The Department of Public Safety says Holden Bishop, 23, of Caldwell was driving north on FM 3058 when he tried to pass in a no-passing zone. When he noticed a vehicle approaching, Holden reportedly swerved back into his lane, lost control and hit a tree.
His brother, Tyler Bishop, 21, of Caldwell, and the only passenger in the car died at the scene.
Authorities say Holden Bishop was transported to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan with non-life threatening injuries.
DPS says both brothers were wearing seat belts.
~This is very sad! I know both Holden and Tyler as well as their older brother Miles... I cant believe that Tyler is gone. Please keep the family and community in your throughts and prayers~
