Your wife is never mad at you when you mow the lawn, unless you cut down some of her favorite plants.

The neighbor's wives make their husbands mow when they hear you mowing---so it is always fun to start mowing at daylight to watch the fun.

You can sit and drink a cold beer when you get finished without being griped at for loafing.

Getting a headache trying to figure out which pattern to mow without going over the same ground twice, hitting a tree, or getting snagged by a rose bush.

Getting blisters on at least 2 fingers and having chest pains from yanking on the weed eater or mower starter cord for 50 times or so.

Hitting an un-picked up pile of dog poo with the weedeater after looking up when your wife yells "telephone" and getting it splattered all over your face, shirt, and teeth.

Running over any metal object concealed by high grass. Very expensive.

Misjudging the turn or stopping distance of your riding lawnmover and running into your own car. Also very expensive.

Having a yard-freak neighbor who gently mows his trophy lawn with a manual push reel mower and your wife wants to know why you can't do that.

This doesn't apply to me.:( I don't get to mow, my wife does it all. The closest I get to mowing is starting the push mower for her while she does the mowing.............http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/cool/cool0009.gif

I've learned to live with it, though!:D:inlove:

Hey, I've even tried to get out there and mow. Back a couple of years ago, I bought a brand new John Deere. It rides like a Cadillac compared to our old Craftsman. I would get on it while she was doing something in the house. She would hear me out there, and not long before I would make the first swath, or two, she would come out there and give me that look. Do you know what look I'm talking about?http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/scared/scared0010.gifNeedless to say, I would get off and let her commandere the Deere.........http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/scared/scared0011.gif

speaking of yard-work - Bull - are you familiar with Sego Palms and the "pups" they produce?

Not moving the cars before you weed eat hit a rock and busting out the back window of your SUV. Also pretty expensive.

those pups can cause huge problems if not taken care of on a yearly basis.. Husband pulled up about 55 of them last weekend. We gave most of them away -
That's all I have to contribute to a yard care conversation.. I leave the mowing to "my man" to handle.. :D

She absolutely loves it! I'm still trying to figure it out, but apparently she hasn't had that trouble. The only thing she has a question about is why some pictures are blurry. I told her that it could be that the camera is focusing on something in the foreground, and that she may need to take it off of autofocus. Was I right? Men and instructions don't mix, if you know what I mean.;)
