My first 7 on 7

This weekend i had to take my oldest to his first lineman challenge at the Field House. Now as I dropped him off I saw that Buckeye Stadium was full. On my count there were at least 18-20 teams there. I have never seen a 7 on 7 game before so I stayed and watched them. Now I see I have really been missing something, that was really fun to watch. I stayed and watched about 8 games while my boy was doing his thing. Was great fun.

It's even better that Gilmer won it this year. Last year, they barely lost to Sulphur Springs in the final. This year they avenged that loss to SS and then beat Pittsburg in the final. Way to go Buckeyes! They looked good!:clap: :D

They were all in the weight room. I he is a new freshman so he was first then he had to stay and watch the others.

its a lot of fun to watch, I sure wish Gilmer would play in a Sttae Qualifier I think they'd be stout

The way it looked to me, it was a horse race. At lot of post and flag routes. Stump looked good and so did Turner

Me, too. I don't know why they don't. They didn't last year, either. I think they'd be pretty hard to beat, too.

I know that they will be i Marshall next week. I don't know if that is a State Qualifier?

They played in the one in Marshall last year, and won it, I believe, but it wasn't a SQT tournament, I don't believe. I'd like to see them at least give it a go in a SQT.

No it's not a SQT...there is a SQT on June 20 in Tyler for 3A-Under schools...
