Where does the #3 and #6 rankings for Sweeny and Needville come from? The latest TGCA poll I can find has Sweeny #4 and Needville #9. Is there another one to look at?

Celina has played an impressive schedule. I do hope its a series and not one game. I also hope the site is somewhere between the two towns and not in Duncanville.

The Sweeny coach said last night that the series was NOT set for Manvel..that's as of 8:40 p.m. Central last night..he said that site would not be used, and that he hopes to have that info out today...

The word I get is Van vs. Celina is definitely going to be a Thursday-Saturday series. It's going to be either Rockwall Heath or Quinlan. They just have to settle on one or the other.

Celina will have to split up its fans again, but that's the price you pay for being good in both sports, I guess. They had a good crowd for the baseball games I got to watch last week and I imagine the softball team had a good crowd too. Maybe they can push back the softball start time on Saturday.

Site not yet confirmed as of Monday evening.

UIL 4A bracket shows Angleton/Waltrip scheduled at Manvel 5/28, 5/29.

I've also been told Celina's graduation is Friday night, thus the Thursday-Saturday series for both baseball and softball.
