Taylor and Carthage will be playing a best of three regional semi final playoff series.

All games will be played at Mesquite Tillery.

Game 1 Thursday May 28 @ 7:30pm

Game 2 Saturday May 30 @ 2:00pm - third game to follow if necessary

I heard Brooks has pretty badly hurt.

Mesquite is a quite a trip for the Ducks...about 4 hours?

He wasnt too badly hurt I don't think. He is a heck of a player and gave the Tigers grief everytime he came up to bat.

Closer to 3, and 2-1/2 to 3 for Carthage.

The Taylor Ducks fell in Game 1 of Regional Semifinal action to the Carthage Bulldogs Thursday night, 4-3.

The Ducks scored all three runs in the top of the first to take an early lead, but the Bulldogs scored four in the bottom of the fourth to finish out the scoring.

Game 2 of the best-of-three series will be played at 2 p.m., Saturday in Mesquite. Sam Jirasek will be on the mound for the Ducks.
