3 game series

What format do you like best for a 3 game series?

1 Game a night

1 Game on Day 1 and 2 Games on Day 2

2 Games on Day 1 and 1 Game on Day 2


Personally, I like 2 on the first day and one on the second.

I think they usually have game 1 on day 1 and on day 2 they have game 2 with a third game (if needed) played 30 min after game 2.

Needville will have had 3 different combinations this year:

vs La Vernia - 2 back-to-back on Friday (didn't have to go back on Saturday)

vs Sinton - 1 on Friday, 1 on Saturday (didn't have to play the "if")

vs Sweeny - 1 on Thursday, 1 on Friday, 1 on Saturday (if)

First series vs Bellville - lost the flip, played 1 game
Third series vs La Grange - UIL mandated 1 game

If I have to travel a good distance, I like the 2 on Friday (possibility of not having to drive for the 3rd game).

If travel is not a factor, then I like the Thu/Fri/Sat - gives each team time to regroup.

Then pitching plays a role. Whether you have more than one pitcher; how good the #2 is, etc.
