Wacotrib says the site and time on this one is still TBD. I'm not sure on Gatesville's record, but I believe they were 3rd in 7-3A. Gatesville is 30-9.

I was trying to help with Fredericksburg, but couldn't find anything. I do know that they were undefeated in district, and the little I did find, it looks like it's been awhile since they've lost a game.

Huntington has at least 2 losses that I know of in their district...once to Rusk and another to Carthage.

Found a newspaper article that said their pitcher (Williams) had a 24-8 record thru the 1st game of the Splendora series. They won the next 2 to advance. So she should be 26-8. Don't know if she has all of the decisions or not.

Not to be argumentative, but I talked to the Sweeny coach last night and he said they wouldn't be playing at Manvel..he said he hopes to have the site determined today..

The UIL 4A bracket shows Angleton/Waltrip scheduled at Manvel 5/28, 5/29.

Spring Hill Softball team plays Huntington at 7pm Thursday at Nacogdoches High School .
The Lady Panthers record is 28-8.
Ms. Williams is the starting pitcher but they do have another pitcher that does a pretty good job if needed. They did use her during the second part of game 2 against Carthage. Her name is Ashley Campbell...the second base player. She is a Junior.

Van has two pitchers that look the same to me. They split time in the reg. season. The senior is getting the nod in the playoffs. BTW, Van only has 3 seniors on their team. Mostly freshman and sophmores.
