The number one entry in the 30 man royal rumble defeated 29 other opponents being only the second person ever to do it, Shawn Micheals from good 'ol Texas being the other. Benoit was in the ring for more than 1 hour, and finally elimnated the Big Show to seal the deal

Hardcore Legend Mick Foley answered Stone Cold Steve Austin's challenge by appearing at the Royal Rumble. After knocking out Test as test was set to enter the Rumble at #21, Austin ordered Foley to the ring in Test's place. Foley entered the Rumble and eliminated Orton and himself at the same time.
