Honestly I have no idea. I know he lost his first game of the year and gave up a TON of runs in that game. He had some sort of an injury. He hasn't lost since that game though.

Nearly everyone we played in non-district. I don't even know. Brownwood was 2-9 at one point but is now 15-9. We were playing guys in different places and some of the guys were in the basketball playoffs. We went 10-0 in district and have won 13 straight.

All I can say is Soph Pitcher Graylon Brown was absolutely awesome tonight. Aside from a very gutsy performance on the mound, he hit a single, triple, and a 3 run homer that went 402ft. Just a double shy of hitting for the cycle.

Game over, Lions win 9-0. The radio guys said that the Lions will play West next week. They will play on Thursday for sure. Not sure if it is a 1 game or 2 of 3 yet. Brownwood graduates on Friday.

Thanks Red. With the way the bats have been going plus the pitching, I think we can hold our own. L Cooper had scored in the 30s two time and in the 20 three or four times this year. In the last 2 games against us they mustered 1 to our 19.

To me, not putting your kids up to the challenge is the same as accepting defeat before the game is ever played. Everything is on the line, put up or shut up. If you want it bad enough, you can get it done.

I know what you are saying, but as a coach, the best strategic thng to do is play a series and try to beat the other pitchers. Not saying yall cant beat Miller, but unless you have seen him throw, it is very hard to understand. He throws as hard as a pitcher in the bigs.

Why would any coach agree to play BWD in a one game playoff??? Give up everything else, but get that 3 game series... These BWD posters are frequently full of hot air (we know it better than most) but this Miller kid is the real deal. 94-96 mph fastball, accurate, throws a killer curve too... one game:confused:
