I have seen several different polls and picks for 17AAA so far.
Gatesville seems to be the outright favorite, but there is no clear-cut second or third place teams.
Connally has been on many lists. The Cadets will have plenty of speed, but can they win.
China Spring seems to win a playoff spot every year. I find it hard to believe they will not make it this year as well.
Then there is Hillsboro, LaVega, West, Whitney and Robinson.
I am unsure about Robinson because of a new coach, but I believe West and LaVega will contend for playoff spots.
Whitney will be horrible again and without Massey Hillsboro has a lot of work to do.
