I believe DJ Yendrey from Edna won the shot a throw of with 59"10"?

BTW, DJ is on a ride to TCU to play football and word is he's headed North right after graduation...he may just keep on going from Austin.

Way to go DJ!

I really don't know why he was scratched but maybe it was because Trent ran in all 3 relays? (I have no idea if he ran in all 3, just guessing) But, with the injuries, etc. - the coaches have had to make some adjustments and sometimes scratching an individual event to give a relay event a better chance is a decision they have to make. Again, not judging, just "supposing".

I was happy with the results, especially since we had 2 qualifiers unable to participate. Sure hate that S. Francis was injured again this year. Tough break for him - he is a fast dude:(
I was impressed with the mile relay - they have shaved quite a few seconds off their time :) Good for them :)

Haven't heard anything about the TJ - guess we'll have to wait until we read the results in the Advocate.

Isaiah won 1st in the Triple Jump - I heard the distance but I totally forgot........ does 48' 5" sound right? I could be wrong on that distance.. but I did hear it was his personal best.
