Sinton Beats Crystal City in HS baseball playoffs

It was 15 to 1 after 5 innings. But don't be fooled by the score. It was close for a while there. In fact at one point Sinton was behind 1 - 0.

This was a thriller after 1 complete inning as Crystal City shut down Sinton in the top of the 1st and in the bot of 1st they led off with a bunt single and a fly ball that fell in for a single put runners on the corners with 1 out. A balk scored the run and Shane got out of the inning with his 2nd strike out of the inning.


Was about to type that Josh Rodriguez led of the top of 2nd with a HR to left centerfield when Downlow went wacky. i was posting the game in my link for playoff bracket.
