How was the home / vistor decided? Was Cuero the designated home team since they had a bye? Or did they flip a coin?

Way back in the day the Gobblers and Brahmas met up in Weimar in a post season match up. The heavily favored Gobblers came in with 3 future draft picks. One of those would wind up being a star in the Japanese major leagues. The Brahmas came in as heavy underdogs. When the dust settled, the barbecue had been eaten and the last beer drank, Brahmas 8, Gobblers 0. No hits for the Gobblers even. Same kind of game, Gobblers will be heavy favorites. Can history repeat itself????

hopefully like last year in warm ups :D

and home and visitors was decided by a flip :p

Should be an electric game.. I can't wait - I was wondering which of you guys were there.. I was there.. there was lots of RED in the stands for sure...
speaking of the stands - that is a neat place to play baseball. Has that 'old time' felling.. I just love it...... ;)

I was there, but I was too nervous to sit still. Too close for me, I liked the Thursday game much better.

The Bellville fans really came out. It was nice to see. Hopefully we can fill up the stands on Tuesday.

Bellville's loss to Giddings in the seeding game put us in the toughest part of the region 4 bracket. The top part of the bracket is going to tough all the way through. It includes: Bellville(#17), Cuero(#1), Sweeny(#8) and Robstown(#7) according to the 3Abaseball rankings.

I just love it...... ;) Giddings/Bellville game was my first time at this ball park and yes it has that old time baseball feeling. Might make that trip again for this game, it should be a good one. Bellville has very good pitching, but they're facing a very good line up.

Cuero beat a very good Bridge City team the other night in a warm - up game. Bellville - you have your work cut out for you on Tuesday night. I have to go with Cuero in this one...7-2. I can't wait to see a Cuero/Sweeny matchup next weekend...

Cuero fans, don't take this poster too seriously. He's obviously a second teamer that has to pull splinters from his butt on a regular basis. With an attitude like that, it's no wonder he may be riding the pine.

Believe me, the Brahmas know how powerful Cuero is and the huge task they have at hand tonight. The majority of the team will give it 110% until the final out is tallied. And win or lose, feel confident that they gave it their all.

Good luck to both teams and here's to 7 innings of injury free ball.

Bellville -0 0 3 0 0 0 0 -- 3
Cuero --0 0 0 0 0 0 0 -- 0

WP- Mueller
LP- Boothe

Unbelievable game for the Brahmas tonight. Mueller pitched a great game, allowing just 3 hits and striking out 8. Defense was solid. Gremmel did a great job moving over to SS and Mann did a great job coming in to play 2B.
Hackemack was solid behind the plate, with a big pick-off at first in the 6th inning. Leading hitters for Bellville were: Pickett 2-4, Hackemack 2-3, and Jackson 2-3. Mueller, and Huebner also had hits tonight.

 Hmm Tigerfan, what do you have to say about this one? Maybe you should just quit posting who you think should win..you'd sound a lot smarter ;)

Obviously, it just wasn't Cuero's night last night. I was hoping for a Cuero/Sweeny matchup in or around Wharton this coming weekend. Coach Holder did a fine job with his guys this season...keep your heads up. Gators17, we'll just see what Bellville can do against Sweeny this coming weekend. I'm sorry, but I, along with a lot of Wharton fans, just was not too impressed with Bellville in the Wharton series even though Bellville beat Wharton handily in the first game. Wharton could have easily pulled out the 2nd game in that series, but errors kept them from a 3rd game. The Bellville fans were certainly nervous towards the end of that 2nd game. Don't get me wrong, I think Bellville is a very good team, but I know I am not the only one on this board that is shocked that they knocked Cuero off last night. If Bellville can keep their momentum going into this weekend against Sweeny, they might have a chance, but my bets are on Sweeny. If it's a three game series, it will be in Sweeny in three.

...and I know that I am not the only one on this board that is sick and tired of the cockiness of SOME of the Bellville fans on this board...I had a feeling that SOME of your heads would be inflated today after knocking off Cuero...

whenever you go deep in the playoffs in football, volleyball, basketball, and baseball i believe you are allowed to be confident like we are not cocky

I believe you were the one that said no way Bellville would get by Cuero. That sounds very cocky to me. I have the upmost respect for Cuero and admire their success in all sports. Defeating the Gobblers was a great win for the Brahmas, largely due to the superior quality of the Cuero program. Great season for the Gobblers, but I know they had their sites on something bigger. Good luck to their young men & coaches.

R3 Rejects causing havoc in R4. Congrats to R4 champions Bellville, Giddings & Stafford.

I'm guessing you mean Sweeny, instead of Stafford...Stafford didn't even make the playoffs...

He means R4 champs in Football, Volleyball, and Basketball, once again you dont know what you are talking about!
The words cocky come out of your mouth, nowere have I read a Bellville poster stating we were cocky? Cuero is a well respected school and we in Bellville know that.

Congrates on a good season 44, and we know we were playing one of the best teams in the state.

One of the best games I have seen in some time. Congrats to Bellville. The 09 Cuero baseball team will long be remembered as one of the best in the state that may have been bitten by the Swine Flu delay. What a defense! WoW...and Bellville stepped up to the challenge. Mueller (sp) pitched a great game. Bellville has proven time and again they are the real deal and Cerny always has his boys ready to play. Tallerine, Hackermack and cast....nothing lucky about the win...they were good last night.

Again, congrats to both on an outstanding game.

Your last sentence makes absolutely no sense. We can keep this going, by the way.

Bellville defeated Columbus for the R4 volleyball championship.

Giddings over Bellville for the R4 DII football championship

Stafford won the R4 championship in basketball.

These former R3 teams were called Region 3 rejects by a certain R4 poster. Looks like they are doing very well in R4, especially when those R3 rejects are playing each other in 2 of the R4 championships.

Your last sentence makes absolutely no sense. We can keep this going, by the way. YOU make no sense and if i was from wharton id be quite embarrased by you. keeping this little thing going between you and the bellville posters is only making you look more like an idiot f.y.i.
