Bellville and Giddings are just as good as the teams ive seen this year in region 4, its going to be interesting this year in the playoffs with several good teams

Mueller gave up 5 hits and had 11 K's in the complete game shut-out.

Bellville scored three runs in the first w/out a hit. Wharton had 3 hits and a walk in their first inning w/out scoring a run.

After the first inning, Mueller kept the ball down and allowed only two more hits in the game.

Pickett led the Brahmas at the plate going 2-3.

Great game by the Brahmas tonight. Looper has a good changeup that kept the Brahma's big sticks off balance but too many errors cost the Tigers tonight. Mueller did a heck of a job on the mound as usual and the defense by the Brahmas was superb. Overall great game! Also I want to point out how good the Bellville boys look with their blonde hair!

the score was tied 4 to 4 going into the bottom of the 7th. Runner on 3rd (he hit a lead off triple) 3rd batter ( think it was the 3rd batter) hit a screamer out to right center and the runner on 3rd scored - to make it 5 - 4. Congrats to Bellville. Also congrats to the Tigers on a good season.

ps - that's a neat stadium in Weimar. 1st time I've been there. We almost went to the Giddings/Yoakum softball game :eek: didn't realize you could get lost in the town of Weimar :D

Huebner pitched the complete game. Both teams were hurt by errors tonight. Bellville had 4 and Wharton had 2.

Tallerine played well in the field and had a triple to lead off the 7th inning. Smith had a clutch 2 out, two RBI hit in the third inning. Jackson had an inside the park HR. Hackemack played well behind the plate despite taking a ball to the neck that almost forced him from the game early. He also had the game winning hit.

Next up, Cuero!!

Munoz, Mata, Acuna, Fraker, Kubecka - you guys played your hearts out all season...keep your heads up...we are proud of you Seniors! Obviously, the better team won this series...the Tigers could never get any momentum going...errors ultimately kept the Tigers from moving on to the next round.

Bellville - you have your hands full with Scott Holder's Gobblers...good luck to you...you will need it.
