I've seen North Lamar several times this season but know nothing about Argyle. I think I heard Argyle beat them early in the year in a tournament but that doesn't mean much at this point.

Argyle is young with only a few seniors. That being said they are very well coached and have gotten better as the year has played out. They are a good team and could make it a few rounds into the playoffs.

How deep is their pitching? I think North Lamar is a little stronger pitching than they are hitting.

I saw Argyle play once and they didn't impress me much.. Argyle has average pitching but very good hitters and they play good defense..

Argyle is very well rounded. They have four quality pitchers and hit the ball well. But they are young and sometimes inconsistent. Will you be at the game tomorrow?

The pitcher I saw did a good job of changing speeds and throwing strikes, but he didn't wow me with velocity.. I think his name was Katzen

Sounds like Greg Maddox. I guess location is much better than velocity.

I saw Argyle play the first round of playoffs last year when Canyon swept them... They seemed like a team that would be pretty good for next few years.

They were real young last year and everyone that threw against us was an undercalssmen if I remember right.

I look for this series to go the limit. North Lamar pitched their #3 pitcher last night. The other two are better. Of course, they'll still have to hit the ball better to win.

I'm a Paris fan, just have seen North Lamar several times this season. IMO they're not as good as they should have been returning 7 or 8 starters this season.
I saw where we're going to play Castleberry. Can't find out much about them.
