This year was his first year at Calhoun.

I think that's what Calhoun needed... Played at Travis Middle School (Calhoun's Middle school) and it SUCKKKKKKKKEDDDDDDD, no tradition etc... It'd be neat to see him turn that program around... I remember scrimmaging them my first three years of HS in Cuero, blow-out after blow-out after blow-out... Almost felt sorry for 'em... Nahhhhhh...

Wimberley whipped them pretty good the last two years, but it sure looked like PLC had the size and athletes to do well. I'll bet they are in the playoffs, or at least contenders for a spot within a year or two. What I have seen and heard of them reminds me a lot of what San Marcos was before Coach Bush came to town.

Trust me, whatever PLC has, Davenport will get the most out of.
