Jennings Boothe from Cuero will also be at that same game.

Garrett Methvin from Spring Hill is having a great year on the mound. He was the guy who struck out all 16 batters in a 5 inning game vs. Gladewater this year. Only one batter reached base--on a 3rd strike passed ball. I saw him get 14 K's in another game. Has to be over 100 in the K's department.

Haven't heard much from Pleasant Grove this year but Michael Wacha should be tearing them up in northeast texas country.

top hitters besides littlefield and hornback that you mentioned are Brady Capshaw, Kennedale, Kodey Dixon, Brownfield, and Zach Harrison, Van.

Bryson Fuller from Lubbock Cooper has hit 12 HRs this year.

Derek Thompson from Glen Rose and Michael Burchett from Carthage have had incredible years on the mound, with ERAs around 1.00.

Chase Knight from Sanger has had a good year on the mound as well.

Center Fielder, Tanner Mitchell of Wylie high School.

Leads the team with a batting avg. of .455. Leads the team in home runs, hits, TB's, batting average and slugging percentage. Bats in the 1 spot. Quickest player on the team and can play middle infield positions but has been used in center primarilly due to his speed but can actually catch a fly ball if he can touch it.

Role type player who shows up to play every game giving 100% and just expects every other player to do the same. Definitely capable of playing at the next level.

Blake Hubbard (Bridge City) has been selected as well. As a softball guy, I do not have any stats - I just know he's been invited..............

where's Aaron Rollins from sweeny headed and Cody Neel from needville heading next year?

They should be in the running for district MVP with Hornback and Mata this year. But i think it's a dead set with these two for MVP

tigerfan09....

a little excited about your home team...

give me a break....as far as naming friends as region 4 stars....

a good h.s. player should be batting over .400 for the season .

or....

in the .300's with maybe double digit homers....

but....enjoy posting myths....

Aaron Rollins hasn't decided where to attend. He does want to play college baseball next year. We'll see where he goes.

Reyes from Pecos started the year in CF but was moved to SS later on. During District he spent a lot of time on the mound. He does not have blazing speed (6.65 60 yd) but has great instincts and reads on pitchers. He also batted about .746 in District play. Now I will admit the bottom half of the district wasn't the strongest around but that is still pretty impressive for anyone!!
