I didn't really notice...I was too busy paying attention to the Rockets D. They play as hard on the defensive end as anyone I've ever seen.

Yep..the intensity dropped off in the second half. That can't happen if you are going to beat an elite team.

Also, the Rockets couldn't throw it in the ocean in the 3rd quarter, so that didn't help.

I hate crawford too, but tonight had nothing to do with that.

I dont understand how he is ever allowed to officiate a spurs game ever again.

The NBA just doesn't like Artest. Go back over the last 4 seasons, Artest has a total of 15 technicals. Kobe has over 3 times that many, but he still gets the benefit of calls. He doesn't get thrown out for an elbow to the upper chest, but they quickly throw Artest out when he pleads his case. Last night, Artest is clearly going for the ball and fouled Gasol on the arm. The refs call it a flagrant 2, even after reviewing the play. One ref told Artest it's probably a flagrant 1, but we aren't going to change the call, probably better if we just make you leave the game. This picture clearly shows Artest getting Gasol's arm and not going for his head. I question why Gasol was even going to the basket. The Lakers were winning, usually you just pull it out and run the clock.

That's a little better.
