WO-S WILL be up there... we've lost the same number of games as Celina competing in 3A (only 8) and we've both been in the classification 5 seasons.

We reload with the best of them! ;)

If I recall correctly, they destroyed Caldwell 37-7 last season, and came within 15 points of the eventual state champs Carthage (only Gilmer and Celina can claim better)

And by the way, what has ANY 3A team other than Carthage or Prosper done lately?! No offense to Caldwell or the rest of its fans but your chronic cynicism and bitterness (masking as apathy/indifference) shtick is getting very old. WO-S has won a couple of titles and competed in two more state finals since Caldwell has done what?

WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT CALDWELL?

Around Central Texas Mexia should be pretty good. They might ought to be #8, 9 or 10. I know they have a good rb and qb returning and most of their team from last year.

i am not trying to dog any of the other 6 teams that beat us last year but I thought La Vega was the best team we saw. We were in every game we played until the final seconds of the game except La Vega.. they just lined up and whipped our butts! I hope they graduated a bunch of kids!

Liberty Hill's Jerry Vance was 2008 coach of the year, but if he can duplicate what they did last year, I think it'll be his best job of coaching yet. Hope I'm wrong but I feel a storm coming.

Storms are good, especially when they involve thunder!

LOL! No.

The top six teams are an honest opinion of how I think 2-3A will
play out. Of course I hope I'm wrong.

The remaining teams that I included were an attempt to suck up
to the various board owners, moderators, and a doctor.

Oh yeah and I was just throwing a 2A school that competes in
3A a bone.:D

I wondered if there was some connection.

I remember one year that "bullaholic" I believe it was asked what 3 particular districts has in common.....people were guessing like crazy, and it was the districts that all 3 mods were from.

That was back when the mods were me, Sinton66 and slpybear.

Wow, I may have to alter my rankings. Just learned that WO-S has two of the the top ranked prospects in the nation on a certain site's top 100 Prospect list for 2010 (James Haynes at #21 Nationwide, #1 in Texas) and not too far below (Trey Franks at #52 Nationwide, #5 in Texas). Not bad for a little old 3A program.

Will WOS play either of their top players at QB? They like to play one of their best athletes there. I know they did that with the kid that is now at UT.
