Warm-Up Game (Softball)

Saw where Coach Mann is looking for a warm-up game for tomorrow or Saturday if possible. They were suppose to play Poth I believe not for sure what happened there but he is looking and from what I read he is willing to play any classification. His contact info is below and I think this is his phone number still.

They played East Bernard earlier in the year and they have a first round bye in the2A playoffs

Maybe they could play again at a neutral site

Bi District certificaion if May 12

Area Certification is May 16.

Danbury will play in Needville tonight. Columbia played in Danbury last night and won 3-0.

the WC catcher got stung by a bee. She continued to play. The shortstop pulled the stinger out for her. The catcher swore the stinger was 5 inches long after the shortstop pulled it out.

Needville playing good it looks like. West Columbia must be pretty solid as well beating Danbury 3-0. I think the giddings/W. Columbia game will be pretty good. Then the Yoakum/ Winner should be a really good matchup, then who ever wins will probably get Sweeny. THe top side of the bracket is pretty tough. Watched the Yoakum girls the other night they are looking salty, hitting the ball well, fielding it even better. They struggled down the stretch hit a dry spell I guess but whatever it was I think they are now officially over it. I hear that Columbia has a pretty good defense and solid pitcher.

Rockdale 4-1 over #5 1A Iola, It looked like the teams were a little flat. Maybe too much time off without a game. anyway its good to be finally playing again. Next up Splendora, now thats gonna be tough.

I would think so; the freshman pitcher for Sweeny threw in their 2-0 loss against Houston Westside. (1st warm up game) So it should be Chenault vs Repka.

I've got a lot of faith in our district. I say Chenault wins out over Repka. Low scoring, Sweeny 1-0 or 2-0.

We played East Bernard earlier this year Repka is really good. EB won 1-0 in 8 innings.

Should be a great matchup interested to see who is going to give up the mistake. Both pitchers are pitching well this year. If Yoakum gets by there Area round look out that is going to be a very interesting match-up Chenault vs Carmichael in a one game series. Whether anyone wants to believe it or not Yoakum is the real deal.
