Was watching this last night, anyone know where some of these kids ended up?

That period was kind of a low point for Celina as far as college-level talent. The safety/receiver (Roby, #8) went to Trinity Valley CC and then finished at Tarleton. The big running back (Sharrock, #11) is finishing up his degree at UNT but never played football again. The big nose tackle (Davis, #89) was a junior that year and had a lot of interest but was unable to take advantage of any opportunities for reasons unrelated to football. One kid not featured in the documentary - the RT, Ashenbranner - did have a nice career going at Eastern New Mexico before an injury forced him out of football. Another one was the MLB, Martin - he went to TVCC and then to Midwestern State.

Sharrock was No. 12. He wasn't that big, but man he was strong and ran hard.

Wasn't it Sharrock that was in a near fatal wreck a couple of years ago?

Sharock <sp>? Was the stud FB that took it to the house from six yards out on fourth and goal with no timeouts against Daingerfield, only to have the extra point missed that ended the longest winning streak in Texas HS Football History. I was there, on the track about fifteen yards away and saw it. Man what a play.
