I'll stir the pot.

Some of the things I believe. Not everything, but some. What are some of yours?

I believe that:

God is real and he talks to me all of the time.

Everyone should pay taxes, even if it's just a little bit. Nobody should ride the USA train for free.

Pot should be legalized.

Most Truck Drivers really are safe and courteous, and most people who drive cars are not.

Global warming is not near as much of a threat to the environment as "tolerance" is.

People don't really have a problem with illegal immigrants, they just hate Spanish speaking people. Nobody hates Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, or Crocodile Dundee.

The right to own as many guns as I want should never be questioned as long as I am not a convicted felon.

If you can look in the mirror and truly tell yourself that you wish everyone on the planet worked as hard as you do, and helped his fellow man as hard as you do, and held the same core values as you do, then you have a right to complain. Otherwise you should just shut the hell up.

NASCAR is just stupid, but then so is Fishing on Television, Golf on the Radio, and almost everything you see on the news.

If you truly work hard, you will be successful no matter what you do.

Lazy people don't deserve a handout.

Mexicans make the best beer, and the Japanese make the best automobiles.

The only vehicles made in America that are better than any other countries are the Corvette, The Harley, and the Peterbilt.

My main belief: God is real, set the rules, gave us a book to help us lead a rightous life but he does not pick and choose who lives or dies daily except for the choices WE make. I believe in an all powerful God but not one that chooses to let one preceious child live and another die. It happens because of the rules of the universe he created. I believe prayer strengthens our resolve to be better people and Christains and as a support for fellow Christains but God does not put his hand on one and not another.

I have been rethinking this one. I dated a couple of red heads in my days (although I prefer blonde's) Both of these gals were a blast. Lots of fun to be with and treated me like I was the only guy in the world.... well, until they dumped me! Anyways I think Red Heads have more fun but in general blonde's look better physically.

If pot is ever made legal, it just might disappear. For sure, since it's a drug AND Smoking, the feds would make every effort to tax it out of existence. They would also put a huge import tax on the stuff coming in from our southern neighbor countries which would create an international incident and eventually increase traffic in the hard stuff to make up for lost revenues.:D

I think that pot should be illegal and that if you are caught with it you should be put in jail. If you are caught selling pot or any other illegal drug that you should be given the death penalty. I also believe that the legal drinking age should be raised to 30. I agree with you! For all the crap teachers put up with, they are definitely underpaid and underappreciated!

-I think they should do away with TAKS. Why do students have daily grades if the standard is set by the TAKS? Guidelines yes, TAKS no!

Being the husband of a teacher and the father of two young daughters, I see first-hand some of these methods. They are not only ineffective, but stupid. Whoever writes these TAKS tests should be able to come up with the correct answers. I've seen a few answers that were incorrect. That's ludicrous, and should be unacceptable! Yes, you're right about fixing the kids and their parents. That would solve a lot of the problems teachers deal with. However, I don't agree with you on teachers' pay. They should be paid more, for sure.

NASCAR is just stupid, but then so is Fishing on Television, Golf on the Radio, and almost everything you see on the news.
