Nuggets in 6.

Too solid defensively to not win.

and don't forget about billups

I think the Nuggets will win this series but only because Billups will have them playing well in the later parts of games, and give them the close wins that the nuggets could never get before he showed up. They never had the clutch team leader until he got there. Anthony, sure he is a solid offensive player, but Billups changed the way they played there. That being said, it wouldnt surprise me to see the Mavs win the series, because who in the world from the Nuggets is going to guard Dirk?

The Denver Nuggets are too solid defensively? Sure they did a decent job against the offensively limited Hornets, but look at the regular season the Nuggets tied for 14th out of 16 in points allowed per game when you only consider playoff teams. The Bulls are the only playoff team who gave up more points per game.

I would like to see the mavs win, but I would also like to see Cuba react to a loss haha.

I can already see his reaction. "waaahh waaahhh....i need all the attention on me...waaah waaah....the refs are against us....waah waaah....I am going to twitter how unfair this was"

I would rather have that then the reaction of the other 31 owners. "Oh well, I am still a billionaire."

Hoping the Mavs win but picking the Nuggets...just too athletic.

Mavs need to "steal" one of these first 2 games in Denver.

Especially if Damp is hurt. Damp went out with 4 fouls and never came back in. That is when it all went to hell.

Props to Iola's Chris "Birdman" Andersen, he scored 11 points, pulled down 6 rebounds & had 6 block shots. He led all players with a +28 and supplied plenty of energy off the bench.

Nuggets draw first blood...expect Dallas to get back in it ...will be a good series, though...

If the Mavs win one of the first two, I think they'll push this to 7 games. If they don't win one of the first two, I think the Nuggets will win it in 6. No excuses, but didn't the referees suck in Game 1? I think they did.

if the mavs can limit turnovers and fast break points, they will be ok....

also keep in mind, there was a 36-13 advantage for denver at the free throw line, even with all the turnovers, that was the difference maker....

i agree - cant have 20 turnovers and win, but the referees didnt have their best game either.....

It's more like a Christian Academy team vs. a State Prison team. The Nuggets need a good pop in the mouth to get their attitude in check. I'm not a Lakers fan but I will be laughing my *ss off when the Lakers sweep those arrogant thugs. Kenyon Martin and JR Smith need a dose of reality.
