Yes, I believe his teammates & coaches would also say yes. T-Mac was a part of this team and would get a ring if the Rockets would go all the way. This team would be very good with a healthy T-Mac, even though his teams had not advanced in the past, he personally had outstanding playoff series. Most of his past playoff games were with lower seeded teams and not the favorites to win. Go back and look at his playoff stats, he wasn't the reason for his teams not advancing.

He didn't play outstanding. Looking at the box scores for the 2008 playoffs he was scoring a high amount, but that was because he hogged the ball and shot 24 times a game, 146 in the series. Unfortunate thing for him was he only made 62 of those shots which comes out to 42% for the series.

I'm sure the team mates miss him sometimes, but at least now it's a team game and not Tmac shooting 24 shots a game thinking he is still an elite player.
