District 6-3a is the new home for the Leopards the next couple of years along with Whitesboro, Pottsboro, Pilot Point, Sanger (dam purple indians), and Bowie. So far this predistrict Gainesvilles 2nd year coach Jeff Cordell has scheduled games with Frisco (scrimmage), Decatur, Iowa Park, and Forney. And according to the Gainesville Daily Register he has also discussed possible games with Burnet about meeting at a central location but they declined the offer (sore losers??),he also talked with Atlanta, and Celina, but no word on those 2 games yet.

But man that would be one hell of a predistrict ...
Decatur, Iowa Park, Forney, Atlanta, and Celina.

Theres a lot of quality pre district competition a whole lot closer to home for Burnet as there is for Gainsville.

Combined records of last years teams for Forney's predistrict is 46-15. Gainesville's 50-15.

As far as district records from last year Forneys new district was a combined 34-23 which doesnt sound amazing but compared to the new 6-3a it is. Gainesvilles district as a combined 19-33-1 record last year...pretty sad really.

Celina and Atlanta arent really set in stone for next year either, just coaches talking about scheduling games.
none the less i wish Forney good luck next year in 4a.
