If it continues to be Duncan/Parker vs Dallas role players I think they have a chance. If Jet finds his shooting touch and doesn't go 3/17, and dirk makes more then 4/9 shots I am not so sure.

Let's show a little class and give the Spurs the respect they truly deserve. Yes, they are older & beaten up, but I believe they have been model champions over the past years. Even though they are a division & Texas rival, I even found myself pulling for the Spurs during their championship years. Spurs are a class organization. I have a feeling they won't let Dallas close out the series on their home court, but I predict Dallas will win game 6 at home.

Mavericks have the biggest cry baby in the league - Mark Cuban. Maverick fans are VERY jealous of Spurs success. Still very bitter about their epic collapses (Finals against Miami, and getting shellacked by their old coach and a 7 or 8 seeded Golden State).

Mavs were the better team in the series. I grew up a Spurs and Rockets fan since the Mavs were never any good when I was growing up. I moved to DFW 7 years ago and started watching the Mavs some just before I moved up here, and even started going to their games once I moved up here. They quickly became my 2nd fav team after San Antonio, but the more games I went to, the less I liked them. Their fans (not all but a lot) are just like their owner. They're arrogant, and they resent the Spurs something fierce. (Yes I have been to San Antonio as well) Two years ago I went to the game where Duncan was ejected at the AAC in Dallas and all I heard that whole game was "Spurs are the team of the past, we're the team of the future" and "Spurs are too old" along with all other kinds of senseless garbage. I found it hilarious that the Spurs won the title that year even though they were the team of the past. Finally, after many years of living in DFW, I am still a Cowboys, Rangers, and Stars fan... but I'll root for the Lakers against the Mavs now... and I hate the Lakers. Not that who I root for matters any to anyone else... but that's my own personal opinion of why I don't like them... their fans and their owner... not to mention I don't like Jason Terry after that cheap punch he landed on Michael Finley a few years ago in the playoffs. And I know people will say Bowen is dirty, but I don't know that he's ever punched a former teammate at the bottom of a pile.

I agree on the Cuban arrogance statement. As for the fans, I have never been to a game in Dallas. But they sure have a representative on the board that makes them all look bad. JASON Terry also isnt on my favorite list due to the punch.
