2008 Updates to the Football Team Histories

UPDATE: Just an FYI that I've made it through all of the current 5A and 4A team histories in record time in regards to updating each and every one of them up through the 2008 season (there's close to 500 of them combined). Having finished with the upper classifications I am offiicially starting on 3A updates today.

I've already completed District 1-3A and have added in over 200 missing scores in that district alone. As a reminder, team histories for all 177 3A football programs can be accessed off of the main 3ADownLow home page. Just click on each Region home page and there should be a "Team Histories" link at the top right.

As I did last year I'll add in links to the new updates with each district I complete on this thread until I've made it through all 28 districts. I'm trying to at least make it through one district per day which means I should have 3A tentatively updated within the next 4 weeks.

As always, please point out any errors and omissions and I will correct them ASAP.

I attended every single one of those classic matchups between the two in the '80's and '90's. We were bitter rivals initially but these days I would say it's much more about respect, and we generally root for each other as long as it's not a head-to-head game.

The history of Hondo has been extended quite a ways back to 1960. They've maintained an amazingly high overall winning percentage for quite a long time but have never been able to go all the way.

2008 updates have now been added to ALL 177 current 3A football programs. Close to 20,000 historical games have been added to the histories combined (and less than 2000 of those are the 2008 scores). Just today I whittled down the number of missing scores from the Sinton history from 63 missing games to only 6 going back to 1913.

I'm moving on to 2A now!
