Did Sealy beat LG on Tues? If so, did this tie LG back up with Ctown?

according to 3abaseball
district 25 standings
Bellville 8-1
Giddings 8-1
La Grange 5-4
Columbus 3-6
Sealy 2-7
Smithville 1-8

Friday's games

Sealy @ Giddings
Smithville @ Columbus
Bellville @ La Grange

Bellville, Giddings, La Grange have secured play off spots. Only thing that will change is if either Giddings or Bellville loses tonight, then there could be a clear district champion. If both teams win, then they have to play it off for 1st and 2nd. La Grange has 3rd. Columbus has a good team but this is a very competitive district with good pitching and some of the better hitters in our Region.

Good luck to all as we finish district tonight.

The Sealy News reported that Sealy beat Lg 6-5 on Tues. That would mean that Lg lost 2 to Bellville and Giddings, 1 to Sealy, and 1 to columbus. District record of 4-6. Columbus also lost 2 to bellville and giddings, and split with smithville and LG, putting them at 4-6 also. Am I missing something or would this be correct? If so, LG and Ctown would be tied as they split their 2 match ups.

After a loss to Bellville on Monday, the Tigers put together a two-run seventh inning to beat La Grange, 6-5, on Tuesday.

Cody Barrett pitched four innings allowing two earned runs with four strikeouts.

Bradley Miller was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Tyler Reichardt added two hits.

Jakob Diez pitched the sixth and seventh innings, holding La Grange scoreless and opening the door for his team to come back for the win in the seventh.

“I was very proud of the guys tonight with their effort and never give up attitude,” coach Brett Montier said. “Cody and Jakob did a great job for us on the mound, while Bradley Miller and Tyler Reichardt had great nights at the plate.”

A.J. Cryan started on the mound Monday going five and a third innings before Bradlee Ivey came on to finish the game.

The Tigers bats were hot early when Reichardt got a hit and Cryan reached base on an error in the first inning. Miller brought home Reichardt with an RBI single and Cryan scored on a grounder by Jeffrey Krenek.

Bellville pitcher Kyle Mueller gained control of his pitches after the opening inning and the lanky left handed pitcher gave the Tigers fits from then on.

Sealy added a run in the seventh when Aaron Kubicek reached on a single and scored on a sacrifice fly by Jordan Kalis.

Sealy will finish its season on the road Friday in Giddings.

The Sealy News reported the wrong score. LG was leading 6-3 going into the 7th and Sealy scored 2 runs for a final score of
LG 6 - Sealy 5

LG finishes 3rd in district.
