If it comes down to a one game series. I'll take Brownwood over anybody else in the field or on this list. They have one absolute stud of a ace pitcher that is almost unhittable at the High School level.

Too bad you have to win 2 games to be state champion. :p And I'd be shocked if any region I coach rolled the dice and took his chances with a one game winner take all against Brownwood.

True, but if Brownwood were to get to Austin, if there coach wanted to he could pitch his Ace in the semi's and then take his chances in the finals were anything can happen. I would encourage anybody who has a opportunity to see this kid pitch, even if you have to drive a couple of hours to do so. It is both a treat and worth the price of admission. But if you don't get the opportunity this year, just want a couple of years and you can watch him in the Big's. :D on the HD TV.

The funny thing about Brownwoods record is we were 2-9 waiting for basketball to finish up. We havent lost a game since. That means other pitchers havent lost either. That being said, I spoke with a scout for the KC Royals Saturday at Brownwoods game. He was clocking pretty much every pitch. I asked him, "How fast have you clocked him today?" He said, "Hes a little off today, hes only hit 95mph 4 or 5 times. Ive had him at 98mph three times this year."

Must suck to be off and throw 95mph.

I don't care how good the Miller kid is, no one who is 11-9 should be in the top 25.

I am sure any coach that meets up with them in the playoffs will want a 3 game series.

brownwood gave up a lot of runs early in the season....if those results posted on the 3a baseball site are correct....did he not pitch early in the season?......brownwood is on a roll right now.

He pitched, but in limited amounts.

I'm pretty sure his ERA is still 0.00, so I do not think he gave up any runs early on in the season.

Although I would like to see them consider us I think I would rather sneak up on our competition in the playoffs.:taunt: :D
