Who are the front runners in each district this next year and what do they have returning?

The district title will run through Rio Hondo.

It's gonna be tougher for the 'Cats to three-peat though.

Port Isabel,from what I hear, have gotten tired of being second fiddle to RH.

Hidalgo has gotten a state-champ coach from Houston St.Pius.

Lyford is the district's version of Texas Tech.

Zapata is always tough

La Feria made huge strides in '08.

Progreso is progressing....

Glen Rose lost there QB but have a decent backup. He doesn't have quite the arm strength but does run very well. also we have several speedsters coming up from jv and some inexperienced players that are now experienced. As far as District champs that will depend on what China Spring has coming back.

District 17-3A: :thinking:
Gilmer.....:D .......will be going for its 9th straight undefeated district championship.

What does China Spring have coming back this year? Does anyone else have a chance in their district? Also how will Liberty Hill be this year 09 compared to the 08 team?
