I found this from April 8th:

A NEW BALLGAME

A glance at the 32-3A standings shows plenty of movement.

There are four teams in a logjam at the top with two league losses (Lyford, Zapata, Raymondville and La Feria).

Zapata, coming off a loss to Lyford, slipped by La Feria 2-1 Tuesday out west to further create the mess.

Round Two of the annual Willacy County Shootout will be played in Lyford tonight, and this game has plenty on the line.

Lyford has returned to the Top 10 this week courtesy of their wins over La Feria and Zapata. Meanwhile, Raymondville took a 12-6 victory last month at home and is looking for the season sweep.

Thursday, April 9th scores:

District 32-3A
Lyford 2, Raymondville 1
La Feria 15, Port Isabel 0
Rio Hondo 15, Hidalgo 0, 3 innings

Tuesday, April 14th scores:

District 32-3A
Lyford at Hidalgo, not reported
Raymondville 4 La Feria 3
Zapata at Port Isabel, not reported

I think it is safe to assume that both Lyford & Zapata beat Hidalgo & Port Isabel.

So, you've got

T1-2 Zapata & Lyford at 8-2
T3-4 Raymondville & La Feria 7-3

good times :D

Yeah, girls softball in Port Isabel, sadly, isn't very good. It's still basically a fledgling program. PI started playing girls softball in 2003 or 2004 if I recall, so it's pretty new.
