The evening of the Cowboys home opener the Rangers have an afternoon game. Ranger fans are gonna have a fun time leaving that area as the Cowboy fans are driving in. Watch that Ranger game go in to extra innings to make it even worse!

No TO = 9-7(No playoffs)

If they had TO - 11-5(playoffs)

I say 10-6 and take a wildcard spot. Maybe I'm being too optimistic but I like their chances.

I see two sure losses on there, Nov. 8 and Jan. 3

The Rangers will move that game, probably a double header on Saturday.

Here's how I see it. We're 3-2 going into the bye. You could MAYBE argue 4-1 depending on which Carolina team shows up this year. We'll either split or go 1-3 the next four weeks (I think we beat Seattle and that's it). Then we win back to back, lose in NYC, hopefully pull of San Diego, then lose in NoLA, take out an overrated Washington, and lose the finale (per usual) to philly.

I see an honest range between 7-9 to 9-7. As of right now, we're the 3rd best team in the division.

I would take 3-2 at the bye, hope for 4-1. I think we split with the Eagles, and make the playoffs at 10-6. God, I hope this is the year they finally have a good December again, but that stretch is brutal

The more I look at that schedule, the more I'm thinking 9-7 at best.:( I'm hoping they surprise us and go at least 11-5.:)

all three of their road games before the bye should be very winnable.

Tampa Bay will be introducing a new QB and HC.
Denver will be introducing a new QB and HC.
Kansas City will be introducing a new QB and HC.

That's true. I'm thinking they get off to a good start, maybe even 4-1, but it's in the last few games where they'll probably fall off. That's one tough schedule.

The 2008 records of the opponents for the last four games:

8-8
8-8
8-8
9-6-1

Don't read too much into the paper at this point. With obviously hundreds of variables taking place between now and the end of the 2009 season, let's just call the months of December and January on the schedule what they are: games against mediocre teams in 2008.

Valid point. And who knows what everyone's injury situation will be like at the time

Look at the record of the December games of each of those teams though.

San Diego: 4-0
New Orleans: 2-2 both losses by a combined 5 pts
Washington: 1-3
Philly: 3-1

So let's take our December games for what they REALLY are: 2 teams that ended hot, 1 team that was extremely competitive and a team that we haven't swept in who knows how long that we're playing on the road in arguably the worst month of the year for the team.

No gimmes. Anywhere.
