Grew up watching Ivan Rodriguez play for the rangers it is great to have him back in TX playing for the Astros. Hit a 2 run Homerun last night #296. Good luck to him and the Astros this year.

It's going to take more than Pudge for Houston to win this year.

reminded me of the 04 homerun derby seeing all those shots leaving the park. Now if only Tejada could get back in that groove and Berkman does what hes always capable the bats could be pretty good this season...pitching on the other hand, no thats another story

The Rangers were dead wrong about him in 2002 when they declined to offer him a contract because they believed he was through. Two World Series appearances, on World Championship, and several Gold Gloves later, he's still one of the best all-around catchers in the game.

And his charisma is still just as infectious as it was 10 years ago.

I'm sure they felt the same way in Houston watching Nolan Ryan come back to Texas.

well, Nolan didn't actually leave the state after Houston...he came straight to the Rangers, so I'd imagine that stung a lot worse.
