My former Supervisor just contacted me. He is trying to get approval thru corporate to bring me back. That's all depending on the money. I mean if they have any left to pay me or anyone else?? Been out of work for 2 1/2 months. Think it's time I got off my butt!!! But it is NOT official until corporate signs off on it!!!

The uncertainty of being unemployed is REALLY stressful. I hope it works out for you.

I have been very fortunate, and have never been unemployed in 39 years---underloved and unappreciated, maybe---but never out of work.

Best of luck, ILS1--I hope the corporation brings you back.

Thanks alot RM!!! Now, I can finally get my knee check out by a doctor. About a month and a half ago I played basketball against kids half my age. I didn't fall or bump it into anything. The next morning it blew up to twice it's size. It hurt like heck too!!! I iced it down and stayed off it for about 2 weeks. I hobbled around on it. Went out there again a week ago and same thing happened the next morning. I haven't played since but when I sit still for awhile my knee locks up and takes a little stretching to get the joint working again!! I've never had knee problems before. May be that ripe old age of 41 catching up to me!!

I didn't mention, just like everyone still there. I have to take a 15% percent pay cut until the economy stabilizes!!! Then they will retro pay us the money back when everything gets better. But at least I'll have my full benefits again!!!

A forced 15% savings account might be a blessing in disguise. Good Luck!

15% pay cut is a heck of a lot better than 100% pay cut. :p

Outstanding news! I recently learned that the benefits can be more important than the pay.
