View Full Version : Great News Concerning DKR-Memorial Football Stadium.

According to ESPN they are adding some seats this year. They are expecting to be able to have 101,000+ football fans at the games. According to them this will be only one of five football stadiums that will be able to have 100,000+ football fans at the games. Great news indeed!

what are the other ones? Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, (don't really know if what I listed are correct)

SWM the top five according to the updates I could find right now are

1. Penn State
2. Michigan
3. Ohio State
4. Tennessee
5. Texas

Texas will still be in fifth place with the new capacity .

The top 6 after the above 5 are

6. USC at Los Angeles Memorial Colesium
7. Georgia
8. Rose Bowl where UCLA plays their home games
9. LSU
10. Cotton Bowl which has no home team
11. Alabama (I included this one since no.10 had no home team.)

It won't be a ton of seats being added from what I understand. Basically, the stands under the Godzillatron will become permanent, and since they are mkaing a solid foundation, there will be more added on.
