I recently watched two that I remember as a kid terrified me!!

ABC made this, scared the bejesus out of people!

and

Countdown to Looking Glass (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087090/)
HBO produced but won't release on DVD:mad: Excellent and made in a docu/drama style with news reports that seemed real.

We really sold the Soviet Empire!
