Right out of turn 4. Good ways up the lower level to see the whole track. Entrance to Pits right in front of you.\

I've never been to a race but we have friends that go. We went to Daytona last summer (July 4th) but I opted to pass on the race (Mr44 went though) We're going to Daytona again (July 4th) this year and I can't decide if I am going to go to the race or not. They have pit passes (whatever that means) I just know you gotta park about 2 miles from the race track...... going isn't so bad but I have a feeling after drinking all day - the walk back to the car is not real fun in 108 temp ;)

Well I was in the infield sitting on top of a motorhome parked up against the fence in turn 3 for the 1st Texas NASCAR race---race cars were so close you could almost touch em'---so there, Eagle Boy.:D

I was at that same race on the back stretch on the front row and hated the seats. The cars were going so fast you couldn't see them.. You think I'm bad for being an Eagles fan in football, you would love to hear who my favorite driver is

Yep---they did zing by at 180mph+ and very, very loud. Good thing I had earplugs.

Somehow, I never figured you for a NASCAR fan....I'm glad you enjoy it, although it's hard to get excited unless there is a lot of 2-3 abreast, door-banging racing going on for a lot of laps. Lap after lap of single-groove roundy-round ain't so thrilling.
