Brownwood @ Snyder baseball tonight

I don't know anything about Snyder. I'm guessing they'll have their best pitcher pitching tonight. Anyone with info?

I know nothing about Snyder either but I do know that they are going to get their turn at Shelby Miller. If they can hit 98mph fastballs and nasty change ups they could beat us, if not.....game over.

Yes it's the first time we've played. I read on the Bwood Bulletin website and it sounds like Snyder has some big bats... one guy hitting over 500, and two guys batting right around 400. We'll see how they do against Shelby Miller tonight. Miller has 47 strikeouts in 22 innings while Snyder has a guy by the name of Conner who has 46 strikeouts in 33 innings. Sounds like Snyder has a good pitcher too, but it doesn't say if he is starting. The Bulletin goes on to mention Snyder's other pitchers as well, but I bet we see Conner tonight. Brownwood has two guys batting over 400 and two batting near 400. Snyder did beat Sweetwater a lot worse than we did, but we beat Wylie and Wylie beat Snyder. I'm looking forward to tonight. A Snyder win and we've got a 3 way tie for first at the halfway point of district. If Brownwood wins we're in the driver's seat, especially if we can beat Wylie again next week.

I believe Conner was also the QB for Snyder if it's the same kid.
To be honest I think the 27-3 score was a case of a pitcher or
two taking one for the team.
I believe the pitcher Brownwood faced when ya'll beat us 9-3 is
the only pitcher we have with an ERA under 10.00.

From what I read he was clocked at 98 twice against Abilene Wylie with his last pitch of the game being 93 (he pitched the entire game). He is also one of those 7'1 receivers we had during football ;)

I looked at two different mock drafts for the MLB amateur draft and one had him at #18 going to the Mariners, the other at #24 going to the White Sox
