I can't believe that people are picking the Mets to win the pennant.

Haven't they been the big spenders over the offseason?

I can't believe someone picked the A's.. Seriously their line up is overrated and beyond dushererer, their pitching rotation is mediocre at best..

For a team that nobody expects to contend, the Rangers sure do have a lot of people picking one of their players to win MVP...

Personally, I think the Yankees are in for some trouble. I expect Tex to have issues in his first year in New York. He's not a guy who is made for the limelight that he'll be under in NY in my opinion.

every year people think the reds are going to be good...every year they start out well then tank...i guess eventually if people keep picking them they will be right but i have no faith in them righting the ship....their pitching is always suspect and they play in a ball park that makes minute maid look like a pitchers park so it doesnt help their pitchers get confidence at all....

this year i noticed SI picked the NL central as Cubs, Brewers, Cards, Red, Astros, Pirates...i'd be shocked if the astros finished 5th...im guessing 3rd or 4th...the cardinals are old and the brewers pretty much lost their pitching...the cubs could run away with the division this year and be hiding by july...

Darn, if I hadn't seen the word 'reds' I would have sworn you were talking about the Rangers.
