A district rule that states no athletic competition can be attended on the day of the district academic meet. If they qualified to compete on Friday they cannot go. That is unfair.

thats seems like a dumb rule - what does one have to do with another - but there is no one to blame but the schools themselves

WE TAKING 16 ATHLETES TO TX. RELAYS.

AND LAST TIME I CHECK WE STILL BE IN DIST. 25!!!!!

might be a local district rule but dont see that being a "District Wide" rule.

Heard down at the cafe that it was a Dist. 25 policy put in place by the Supt.'s back in August. Problem is they forgot to look at the calendar, was 1st weekend in April. So they made exeption to the rule for all athletes that qualified for Texas Relays.

Is not the first time a room full of Supt.'s done screwed something up, will not be the last either.
