View Full Version : Stump the Schwab game

Who wants to participate in a game that I've made up based on the ESPN game show "Stump the Schwab"?

I'll take the first three entrants, and you must all agree not to cheat or look up any answers (gentleman's agreement).

No prizes will be awarded, but it should be mildly entertaining on this boring afternoon.

Ok...Round one is called "Starting lineups". You will each be given a starting lineup from a LOSING team from championships in the past decade in your sport. There will be seven blanks for each of you to fill out. You'll each need to complete the lineup from the sport you chose to the best of your ability. The two with the top scores will advance.

In case of a tie, the poster who fills his lineup out the quickest shall be determined the winner.

I will give you a couple of minutes to make sure everybody understands before I post the lineups.

Fair enough...I'll allow you to advance in lieu of any other competitors.

The next round is Name that NFL player. You must name the NFL player in as few clues as possible. Whoever bids lowest will have the opportunity to name the player. If they answer wrong, the other person wins. When you don't want to bid lower, you must accept the other person's bid and make them name the player.

There are a maximum of 7 clues.

Emerson, since you won the last round, you may start the bidding.
